Regional Practice
Halcyon & Mercer maintains a deliberate footprint. Each of our three regional practices is led by a partner with a decade of local relationships, an active book of off-market mandates, and a clear point of view on what the next decade will bring.
I · Toronto
Halcyon & Mercer's Toronto practice is the firm's founding business. We represent residential property in Forest Hill, Rosedale, Lawrence Park, Yorkville, Hoggs Hollow, and The Annex — the city's most enduring postal codes — with a particular concentration in heritage architecture.
A meaningful share of our Toronto inventory is held off-market. Owners of architecturally significant residences rarely list publicly; they prefer a curated conversation with a buyer whose plans for the property they trust. We make those introductions.
Our average Toronto transaction in 2025 closed at $6.8M, with our highest at $24M. We do not actively pursue mandates below $2.5M.

II · Muskoka
Our Muskoka practice covers Lakes Joseph, Rosseau, and Muskoka — the three lakes whose pricing has decoupled from the rest of Ontario residential and now constitutes its own asset class.
We represent a private register of cottages held in family trust for two and three generations, alongside a smaller selection of contemporary builds with the architectural seriousness our buyers expect. A meaningful share of our Muskoka transactions are concluded before any public listing.
Andrew Mercer leads the practice from our Port Carling office and has personally closed in excess of $312M in lake transactions since 2018.

III · Prince Edward County
Prince Edward County has changed substantially over the past decade. The first wave of Toronto buyers came for the wineries; the second wave is reshaping what gets built. Our PEC inventory reflects both — restored heritage farmhouses on working acreage in Hillier, Bloomfield, and Wellington, alongside a small register of architect-designed contemporary residences.
Our PEC office has operated from Wellington since 2014, when Andrew opened it after his first transaction in the County. We do not work the resort condominium market.
